When Bruce Lawson and two mates set off from Cape Town in 1998 to walk unaided across Africa, Rogue sponsored their footwear. In Southern Tanzania they hit the rainy season..sometimes calf high in water, they needed something waterproof. We don't make Gum Boots, but we did make them the RB5. We've softened them down a bit since then because not everybody walks across Africa. But we still make them with all the good stuff - 2mm Grain leather, Inside leather lining, Rubber sole with ball-bearing lace loops. Tough is affordable.
